Encapsulation Carpet Cleaning -How It Works & Why It’s Effective
Encapsulation carpet cleaning is a modern, low-moisture cleaning method used by Reekers Carpet and Upholstery LLC to keep carpets looking clean and fresh without long drying times. Instead of soaking the carpet with water, we use a specialized cleaning solution that loosens dirt and surrounds it with microscopic crystals as it dries. These crystals trap the soil so it can be easily removed during normal vacuuming. Because this process uses very little water, carpets dry quickly, allowing you to get back to using your space faster. Encapsulation cleaning also helps carpets stay cleaner longer by avoiding sticky residues that attract dirt, making it a great option for homes and businesses that want effective cleaning with minimal disruption.

About us
Reekers Carpet and Upholstery LLC was founded in November of 2023 by John Reekers following four years of honorable service in the United States Army as a combat medic (2019–2023). Built on a foundation of discipline, integrity, and service, the business reflects the same commitment to others that guided John during his military career. Carpet and upholstery cleaning is also a family trade—one John learned firsthand from his father and grandfather throughout his youth and young adulthood—combining traditional workmanship with modern cleaning methods.
Commitment to quality, honest pricing, and customer satisfaction has been a cornerstone of Reekers Carpet and Upholstery from the beginning. We are proud to be locally owned and operated in Okoboji, Iowa, serving both residential and commercial clients throughout the surrounding communities, including Jackson, Spencer, Lake Park, Estherville, and nearby areas.
